Massa Marittima
Extraordinary art city of southern Tuscany, Massa Marittima has ancient origins and became very important thanks to the exploitation of mineral resources. Its Romanesque cathedral , which scenically overlooks the beautiful square with its elegant medieval palaces, is considered one of the most significant Romanesque monuments in Tuscany and has seen the presence of great artists of the 1300s, such as Duccio di Boninsegna and Giovanni Pisano. The Sources of Abundance preserve a unique in Italy: the wall painting of the Tree of Fertility dating back to the mid-thirteenth century. Leaving the Cathedral square, we will visit the so-called New Town which preserves imposing medieval fortifications, such as the Torre del Candeliere , the arch and the Sienese Cassero and we will reach the church and cloister of Sant’Agostino where the relics of San Bernardino, born right in Massa Marittima, are kept

Pitigliano Sorana Sovano
The visit of the tuff cities allows you to make a suggestive itinerary to discover the Maremma hinterland.
In half a day you can visit one or two countries. We suggest a full day tour to get to know all 3 villages.
Unmissable Pitigliano , famous for its panorama, and with an ancient ghetto (paid entrance) entirely excavated in the tuff in the 1600s. The Etruscan tombs around the town have for centuries been used as cellars to produce wine Binco di Pitigiano doc.
The tiny and intact Sovana has a beautiful Romanesque cathedral (entrance 2 euros) and maintains, in the only street that connects the church with the remains of the Aldobrandesco castle, a brick paving.

Grosseto
The capital of the Maremma offers the possibility of a pleasant visit to its historic center.
Grosseto was, at the time of the Medici, one of the most important fortress cities in Tuscany and its historic center, completely surrounded by beautiful bastion walls in the shape of a six-pointed star, houses important monuments: the Medici Fortress, the Cathedral in Romanesque-Sienese Gothic style, the church of S. Francesco, with votive frescoes and a precious crucifix from the Sienese school, and the beautiful Archaeological Museum of the Maremma, among the most important in Italy for the number of finds
Maremma Natural Park
The park is a regional nature reserve 15 minutes from Grosseto. It can be visited on foot with suggestive itineraries, tickets at the visitor center of the town of Alberese, or even by bus, with a special permit that will guide you. You can reach Marina di Alberese and cross the beautiful pastures with Maremma horses and cows in the wild raised by cowboys, and reach the Grand Ducal pine forest and the famous beach, where we can stop for a walk or take pictures.
In 3 hours you can visit Grosseto and the Maremma Park by bus. Possibility of carriage visits for groups.

Monte Argentario e Isola del Giglio
The Argentario promontory , with the villages of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano occupies the southern tip of Tuscany. The scenic beauty and the very particular history of these places, which has seen centuries of Spanish domination, make it a very popular tourist destination. Worth a visit is the ancient village of Porto Ercole which dominates the marina and which is linked to the last days of Caravaggio’s life. The Spanish fortresses, the Rocca, Forte Filippo and Forte Stella dominate the village and give the village the appearance of an ancient Presidios. A nice trek allows you to visit them. In Porto Santo Stefano we will instead take a bus tour along the beautiful scenic road, with unforgettable views of the island of Giglio.

Giglio Island
The full day tour will allow you to visit one of the most beautiful islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. The departure by ferry is from Porto Santo Stefano and in one hour we will reach Giglio Porto, a picturesque seaside village, with characteristic colored houses, picturesque alleys and the sixteenth-century Medici tower. With the booked bus we will go up to Giglio Castello , a network of narrow medieval streets within a suggestive circuit of walls dominated by the Pisan fortress of 1000. We will then continue for Giglio Campese , wide and beautiful bay dominated by the beautiful tower of 1700 and closed by the faraglione. Sarteano
A guided tour full of places to admire and discover. Sarteano is in fact a place full of history, a village long disputed in the Middle Ages between Orvieto and the Sienese Republic.
As soon as you arrive in the town you can immediately notice the mighty fifteenth-century fortress, which dominates from above and which will be an essential stop on the tour, together with the austere Renaissance palaces.
